I recently used the XR4151 in my module that recreates the Yamaha
IG00153 (CS-80) VCO. Seems made for the task.

And apparently that’s what the developers of the Chroma oscillators thought
as well. Seems funny that a Chroma chip is used to recreate a CS-80 circuit,
since obviously they had at least a _little_ look at the CS-80. Similar
16 voice/single osc base architecture, LPF/HPF combo, and poly pressure
(though most Chromas don’t have the key sensors, but everything else is
in there).
